I have 417/375 fishing skill with my Arcanite Fishing Pole, Nat Pagle's Extreme Anglin' Boots, and +2 Fishing skill enchant on a crappy pair of gloves. Also, I'll try different server times and differnt areas where you can catch these fish to see if the catch ratios will vary at all. I thought this was a pretty decent rate for the Icefin Bluefish and Figluster's Mudfish, which give nice buffs when cooked. Here are my ratios for 10 minutes worth of fishing just west of Camp Forge: Fear in Nagrand at 7:20pm Server time.(It's right next to a waterfall and you have to fly to get there.) OMG.Комментарий от AllakhazamI was messing around, flying on my new Tawny Windrider, and decided to go fishing (since I have been obsessed lately with the Fishing Extravaganza on Sundays ).

I have tried the jettys, I have tried the islands. It's now 4 days later (I really want those two baby crocs!). Hit the magic spot next to Garadar, 3rd try, tyvm. ooo ore to farm, took twice as long to get there as it ought to, but gold is gold people. First alt - 15 minutes before I hit wowhead. First day, I take my 4 baby alts (they're only babies in my eyes, a couple of years old), and bam! First day I get the one that got away. So I high-tail it to Outlands (one of my favourite areas tbh) and there he is, fishing quests. So now, I'm on a different account (that's a story for another day), and omg! I've only 2 baby crocs. And don't be surprised if it takes a while I've gotten it on the first cast but it also took over 40 casts on one occasion.Ĭomentado por Emalethx2It has been many, many years since I did these quests. So just get in the correct position and you're good to go. Go over to the Throne of the Elements side and you will find that Skysong Lake extends past the water's edge several yards onto solid ground (though the water there is shallow so you may have to wade out a bit to reach fishable water). The confusion with the "Sunspring Post" location is because even though your character is standing in Sunspring Post, if you wade out into the water you will see it says "Lake Sunspring." And if you're standing near Garadar, it seems to extend out into the water further than other areas, so you're not fishing in Skysong Lake, you're actually fishing in Garadar. I've been doing this quest for 10 years, and I can tell you that as long as the water you're casting into has "Lake" in the description, you have an equal chance of catching the World's Largest Mudfish.

#Icefin bluefish how to
It dawned on me that this may be to override this exploitation as it was linked to daily for the zone ie a city for crocs.Įdit, looks like they now gone back to how these were in the beginning now after the 2 problematic changes.Ĭomentado por UroshnorIt seems a lot of people are misunderstanding how RNG works and how to tell where you're fishing. He then tried fishing out of Terokar with success and I handed in the daily and was able to fish as normal. We both had however caught the daily fish after a few casts and returned to getting nothing. I found this out in Terokar while doing the Blackfin Darter daily, I thought it was addons but had a conversation with another player with different addons, both of us disabling and re enabling but having the same problem. At first you may get nothing atall and blame addons but when you get the daily fish and hand in you can fish as normal.
#Icefin bluefish code
One of the easiest Dailys in the game, requires no killing, almost no travel, and since both lakes are near a guarded area, Garadar or the Consortium post, almost no risk of PVP death.Ĭomentado por 74836I may be way off the mark here but it looks like after 3.0.8 probably to get over the old crafty exploitation (maybe code was too complex to undo so adding more might have been easier) While you are on a fishing daily you can only catch the daily fish in the area for that daily. I returned at 320 base fishing and with the +95 I only missed about 20-30 of casts. the regular mudfish, and the bluefish are keeping my guild stocked with +20 agil/spirit and +23 spell damage/+20 spirit buff foods. Comment by Leili At the pond at 38,22 I attempted to fish at lv300 +20 (Big Iron Fishing Pole) +75 (Baubles) and couldnt catch. I've done every one of the fishing quests at least once so far, this one about 6 times, and it's never taken me more then 1 lure.Īlso. you either forgot to actually accept the quest, were not in the right zone, or you were not catching anything because of a low skill. If you went through more then 1 lure and didn't catch it. while on the quest, I usualy catch it by the 30th cast, usualy about 5-8 minutes. I use the 'fishing buddy' addon, which tracks casts and catch percentages. Yes, you need to be in one of the 2 lakes, none of the rivers count. fortunatly the daily fishing quests give almost unlimited supply of +100 lures. Comentado por NighteyesI have a base fishing 400 (375+25 pole) and get 'fish got away' messages in nagarand.
